Apt CoWork at Cottonwood Broadway Apartments

UPDATE: Four months in and I have a different perspective. Sure the space looks nice, but there are two big issues: 1- The noise level. The workspace looks over an open balcony to the reception area, and the sound really reaches all parts of the workspace. Even in one of the small, private workspaces with folding doors, you can hear very clearly everything that’s going on below. 2- The temperature. Although the open area is generally comfortable, the private workspaces are poorly ventilated, if at all. It gets really warm in there to the point of being uncomfortable. On a positive note, the spaces are fairly comfortable (other than temperature), the WiFi is fast, and the provided monitors add a really nice and convenient touch. This was my first visit to an Apt CoWork co-working space and I was very impressed. The chairs and desks are comfy, and there's even a chill outdoor spot for when you need some air. The best part? They've got these awesome phone booth type working spaces so you can focus better. If you really need privacy, like I do with all the sensitive client information I handle, they have a purpose-built phone booth that blocks out almost all the ambient sound. It’s amazing! Bottom line: it's fancy without trying too hard, and I'm all about it.

The only wifi option is unencrypted. The sound from the lobby carries clearly throughout the loft and into the private pods (especially the receptionist's loud music), so headphones are a must. Comfortable space with minifridge and ice maker, but no microwave. No better than the free library spaces nearby.

The downtown space looked incredible. Plenty of options for work space and the monthly agreement options were less than expected.
